Organized by the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, Le French May has been providing the community with a cultural exchange platform since 1993. The two-month annual art festival features over 120 events and happenings, from exhibitions to performances; from cinematic to gastronomic chef d’oeuvres; and from classic to contemporary creations.
The cultural feast to all the senses has attracted over five million of participants and spectators, making it one of the major French arts festivals in Hong Kong and Macau. Dedicated to promoting a cultural dialogue between East and West, Le French May is celebrating its 22nd anniversary with the celebration of Sino-French diplomatic relations and Lyon, France’s third largest city, as the centrepiece.
Le French May 2014 will present for its 22nd edition with selections of top-notch performances, exhibitions, dance theatres and French delicacies in Hong Kong and Macau between 2 May and 28 June 2014 for the general public to savour the finest of authentic French culture.
